Angela Mays
I would like to introduce myself; I am Angela Mays, Co-Owner of Sydney Broderick Salon and Spa. My sister and I created the work environment we have always dreamed of. I am proud to say we designed the entire salon from the ground up! It took us nearly two years to make our dream a reality. The salon is named after our children, my son being Broderick, a.k.a. Brody.
I have practiced in Jefferson City as a stylist for almost 13 years and still have the same passion, if not more, than the day I graduated from Cosmetology school! This business is so exciting and in constant motion, always evolving into something even more creative and exciting. My clients have learned I love change and we try anything at least once! I must admit that color is my favorite thing to do, adding a few highlights or changing an entire look. It doesn't matter, I love it all! It allows me to be so creative; hair color is truly an art form.
I pride myself on staying up on the current trends and attending as many shows and conventions as my schedule will allow. I also hold regular in salon training courses to always challenge our stylists to learn something new or to do it a little differently. The most exciting training I have achieved was in San Diego, CA, in which I earned a diploma in Paul Mitchell Download and I Run With Scissors. I am also a certified Hair Extensionist in hair enhancements. Currently I am planning my next venture to Hair World in Las Vegas, NV!
